Director Bala took two actors who have shown normal acting caliber so far and asked them to perform. Both the actors have put genuine try and have pleased us with their performances too. Especially Vishal! The story is quite simple. Revenge is the main theme. But the extras, which the story throws at us, make it an interesting watch. The casting is good, right from the God fearing inspector to Vishal’s mother played by Ambika. The movie starts with a folk song in which Vishal is introduced and he dances with a punch. Soon a character by name “Highness” is introduced and how the entire cast cracks jokes forms the first half. We laugh, and laugh at some of the most unexpected moments. One coming to my mind now is the scene in which Vishal attends the party thrown by the inspector for the criminals. The movie goes on with humor during the first half.
